America portrayed Betty Suarez the geeky fashion aide in the popular television series. The actress stated recently that for now no movie will be made but is flattered fans are asking for it.

In the course of an appearance on This Morning a UK television show, she stated: It’s magnificent to know that fans are so interested that this question regarding the film simply keeps coming up. There’re no plans for it now but there is a real chance that it will be done, and the fans wanting it is really a wonderful thing.”

Presently, American’s attention is on playing the part of Roxie Hart in Chicago a West End musical and stated that the role is something she’s always dreamed of doing.

Regarding her last night’s premiere performance, America had this to say: “I was a bit under the weather however I had an incredible time, I really enjoyed my self. It was simply wonderful having an audience and being on stage.

“I have been doing theatre right from when I was still growing up, simply community theatre and school theatre, and I have had dreams of doing stage performance in London West End and in Broadway. Therefore last night was certainly something like a dream come true.”

Debby is pleased to be actually portraying an ‘older’ teen – Jessie is 18 – and feels that this is an exciting new challenge both for herself and the network which has not, in the past, looked at this age group. To be just out of high school and facing the world is exciting enough, but Jessie is headed for New York – Wow!

Also expected in the cast of The Good Wife is the star from King Of Queens Jerry Stiller. As Robert King, one of the creators said: “It’s thrilling to have two actors who combine such dramatic and comedic ability. We’ve been watching and loving America for years now on Ugly Betty, and it’ll be fantastic to see her take on a completely different role – especially one that puts her across from Alan Cumming.”

The Good Wife is already a great TV show and the addition of two big names will only aid its growing popularity to allow it to become a market leader this season.

Ashley was accompanied by her 10 month old son, Frankie as she wanted him to see what she does. She mentioned to have enjoyed his sons company and that it was great to have spend the time with him.

She said it’s hard to be just a mum, than being a working actress mum, and plans on not having another child. Further she comments to greet, admire the people who tend to have three or four children less than five years of age and a lot to vie on.
